Banded Agate

This is a polished slab of banded agate (often called mookiate or Mook Jasper) with a striking concentric eye‑like pattern. The stone features a creamy white center surrounded by smooth golden‑brown and amber bands that fade into a translucent gray‑white outer edge. One face is highly polished, revealing a glossy, glassy surface that highlights the natural banding, while the opposite side retains a rough, natural texture with visible fracture lines. The piece has an irregular, slab‑like shape typical of lapidary cuts.
